One of the speakers at the European PASS Conference 2010 pointed out that Kimberly Tripp has written sp_helpindex2, an extended version of sp_helpindex that does show included columns and filters on indexes.

The second day of the European PASS Conference 2010 was a long day. A lot of sessions and I especially attended sessions about subjects that I am not familiar with.

I just noticed that Microsoft released the free Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Hosted Trial virtual lab, giving access to a complete, integrated Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2, SharePoint 2010, and Office 2010 environment, right from your desktop. Update: Please note that you get access for a 3 hour time period only.

At the European PASS Conference 2010 Markus Raatz pointed out a few tools that are available on CodePlex. One of these tools is SQL Server Metadata Toolkit 2008.

Today I attended the first day of the European PASS Conference 2010 in Neuss, Germany. People from all over the world (even from South Africa!) were gathered to attend the 21 sessions today. Tomorrow 25 more sessions will follow.
