At the European PASS Conference 2010 Markus Raatz pointed out a few tools that are available on CodePlex. One of these tools is SQL Server Metadata Toolkit 2008; see http://sqlmetadata.codeplex.com.
This toolkit consists of two tools Dependency Analyzer and Dependency Viewer. The tools do what their names are saying; see the documentation at http://sqlmetadata.codeplex.com/documentation.
I am definitely going to use this toolkit.
